Well, it's been a manic few weeks.
I finally got the training done for the Student Assistance Programme done this week, so I'm now a 'qualified' facilitator and am going to kick some backside in work to get this properly up and running. The training involves you going through the whole programme in 3 days - eight one-hour sessions - and it left me absolutely emotionally whacked out on a level that compares with Journeywork. Yet it's a simpler process to go through ... I'm sure it's helped me with some of the emotional issues from my past.
I seem to have been flying around doing talks and organising things and getting totally stressed out about accounts and audited accounts and all stuff like that, yet all the apparent problems have been smoothed out thanks to a lovely lady called Anne at the head office of the organisation that I'm one of the district treasurer's for. Thank the good lords for that! Hopefully I won't now get eaten alive at the AGM later this month ...
Not much time for artwork ... but I've managed bits and bobs here and there.
And I'm now on hols for the next two weeks. Yesterday I slept until nearly 1300BST. Today I surfaced around 1000BST, though I was awake before that but I wanted to languish in bed awhile.
The writing is getting done ... I'm just awaiting the final artwork scans for the kids book, then that can go to print. The first draft of the coffeetable book should be commented on by tomorrow so the editing from that should keep me busy for a while. And once that's done, then I turn my attention to the information signs for the laybys where the archaeology was found, and the teacher's notes/activity sheets for young people in Northern Ireland, which will be a challenge as their National Curriculum is just a tad different to the one in Wales, and I'm only familiar with the Science National Curriculum ... so that's going to be erm challenging!
But, I've taken yesterday and today to just relax, do art, not worry or fret (well, minimising the worrying and fretting) and just doing my best to 'be'.

I am glad you have a little time to relax and come down, it seems like a lot you have been going on! Keeping all my fingers crossed that everything will go well!
And thanks for keeping your fingers crossed - I managed to make some hairy deadlines and keep every one smiling - there's now two books written by me, layout and design by me, and the design/layout/words for four A1 sized information panels done too. Phewweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I can see you've been busy with things while I've been away from dA ... and it's always nice to see your work.
